In accordance with Article XV, I am exercising my right as the presiding Speaker of the People to decree that adhering to Roberts Rules of Order for the 2021 Speaker of the People election is not necessary, and therefore the election will conclude in 20 days, at 12:00am EST March 1, 2021. At that time, the candidate who has received the greatest number of votes will become the 2021 Speaker of the People. The vote is open at https://www.newathensgov.org/parliament in the Open Votes section. |
